I posed this question on the LH forum but have not gotten any help. Thought I would try a fellow *A forum:
I'm flying from SFO to MUC on LH later this week. To get a more reasonable C fare, I bought it out of YVR. I'll be flying into YVR on AS.
Now I know from prior trips to YVR that before going thru Canadian immigration, one can go to the Int'l (non-US) departure gates. So here's my question: Where do I get my LH boarding pass. At the gate? At the AC Maple Leaf Lounge? Is there such a thing as a transfer desk? I'd rather not bother going thru into Canada to reach the check-in counter. Thanks! :)
They should give it to you at the transfer desk.
However, if the LH agents are nice at SFO, you could go them and ask... if they are feeling nice, they may just give you your boarding passes there :)
So there is a transfer desk?!?
I'm leaving early in the am from the domestic terminal at SFO. Don't thing the LH counter in the int'l term would even be open for hours. So even if they would.........
Thanks for your response! :) :) :)
