intelligence is an abstract concept that is measured by tests. A test can be created that gives a higher intelligence score to introverts just as easily as can be for extroverts. Perhaps you can pose another question to get an answer to what you really want to know.
intellect and personality are two different things.
Introverts tend to me more intelligent about the deeper, and more esoteric things. Someone introvert make be more analytical, but there is also the chance they are not.
Someone extrovert may have a better understanding of people and how to judge, gage and respond to people and situations. Of course, this again may not be the case.
Intelligence isn't based on any of these, and is a culmination of many factors.
in reality, you are unlikely to find someone that doesn't have some introvert and extrovert tendencies.
I am often introvert, but too much analysis of situations actually makes me less intelligent because I cannot always enjoy the moment. An intelligent person would know when to be introvert and when to be extrovert to enjoy themselves, and get what they want.
I wouldn't categories that simply. Generally, in younger people, we would assume an extrovert is less intelligent. but that's just a preconception. An introvert at a young age may just be shy and/or over critical and analytical of situations.

Not one single study has shown that one is more over the other. Extraversion and introversion are typically understood as a single continuum. Thus, to be high on one is necessarily to be low on the other. That said, people fluctuate in their behavior all the time, and even extreme introverts and extraverts do not always act consistently.

They have different types of intelligence. Emotional communication and intellect are not correlated. Intelligence, however, may be higher in extrovert humans.
