As far as monsters that scare me it would be the sirens. I know it's kinda lame, but seriously a woman that can drive a man to the brink of suicide just to be close to her is scary to me.
As for a monster that interests me... well that would the the werewolves. A constant fight with their primal side, and a complete loss of control during certain situations.
My favorite monster is my one eyed monster!!!
