Tomorrow I'm thinking of either drinking some Vodka or alot of cider.
But there is one thing I'm confused about.
Is it how much drink you take into your system that gives you a hagover?
Or is it how strong the drink is that gives you a hangover?

Drinking a cheap Vodka is more likely to give you a headache then a higher quality Vodka.
Keep your potassium levels high, drink plenty of water and moderate your alcohol intake. You should be fine.

I can get completly rat-assed and wake up fine.
But if I drink a bottle of wine I wake up proper hanging, even if I wasn't drunk.
Dehydration is the factor that gives you a hangover. You see when you drink alcohol, your liver works very hard to filter it's impurities. In turn your body gets dehydrated because it takes so long for your body to do this. If you do drink alcohol, I would suggest drinking some water as you drink, or after you're done drinking, drink plenty of water, to keep yourself hydrated.

A lot of things can cause hangover but apparently its the quality of the alcohol that you're drinking (there have been tests to prove this) because properly manufactured (brewed) drinks will give you minimum hangovers where as those 'mixed' drinks (e.g Mix vodka with whiskey then add artificial color additive to make it look like a proper whiskey- not served in retail liquor stores but in bars,etc) gives you more hangovers.
Other factors are probably related to you're alcohol level, so doesn't matter how much ur drinking or how strong ur drinks r cause if u drink a lot of beers, its probably equivalent to couple of shots of vodka.

I've been able to avoid hangovers by drinking water between drinks and also drinking lots of water before bed.
