In favor. As an Independent I am in favor of anything that might be able to forge a common bond between the two Americas. Unfortunately, whoever wins the Presidency will immediately be met with half of the country that will dislike him intensely. We must in future find common ground and find a way to omit all of the hate so evident in this election.

I think its great. All of politics should be like this, and then they should discuss differences in policy. Don't say ____ will take away jobs, don't talk about the children, talk about what your plan is thinking and why it would be more effective. As tragic as 9/11 is/was I'm glad that there is something that can make even these guys go back to being Americans first.
