This comfortable acceptation towards sex has created one surprising and almost unbelievable statistic; It is noted that, "1 in 4 sexually active teens become infected with an STD every year," (Teen Sex and Pregnancy, The Alan Guttmacher Institute, New York, 1996). Just 1 in 4, and these STD's include Gonorrhea, Chlamydia, Genital Warts, Herpes and HIV. Why are teens the age group with the highest contraction noted of STD's what's going on?
