I have never made them.
I saute diced onion then cool it. after its cooled i mix it with diced tomato, grated mozzerella cheese dry basil ground black pepper and garlic powder. I then seal them with tooth picks and bread them in eggwhites and flour and pan fry them. I serve them in a tomato onion sauce and voila!!! stuffed pepper. BE SURE TO ROAST AND PEEL THE PEPPERS BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO DO ANYTHING ELSE FIRST!!

Mix all the ingredients together and fill your peppers,add a little water in each one and bake.
Simply delicious and easy.
i bake mine for around 20 minutes at 325 then stuff them with fried hamburger, onions,green and red peppers also add rice if you want then bake again at 325 around 25 minutes..turns out to be very tasty
I like them stuffed with leftover rice and veggies, and then baked until hot.
