I am working on inputing a area where users on the site can input there own testimonials on what they liked about this companies services. I want 5 of them to display at a time when more than 5 are inputed I want the last ones to be truncated that are older. Should this be done with a MySQL database or something more simpler like input boxes and some php code, and please give some examples if you have any. Thank you
hmm nobody posted any advice... I'm still looking into it and I'm not quite sure where to start, this really shouldn't be too difficult I would like to keep it as simple as possible maybe with just straight up input boxes to loadvariables() to a php statement. All the info can be placed directly into the box without outside interference just type and it will show up, won't need any crazy admin stuff.

Ok here's the deal I have 4 input boxes, First Name: Last Name: Company: Message: each with there own variables, firstntest, lastntest, companytest, messagetest. There is also a dynamic text box called Instance_name right now with the variable testimonialtext. My question is how would I input the text into that box arrange it top to bottom newest to oldest, truncate after 5 entries, and have them up there until either someone else posts something new or I remove them myself.

Yeah, you should you a MYSQL table if yuo have one available. If not, you can also use a xml file via PHP.
