Has anyone had experience with Thrifty in Florence Downtown, Italy? I booked an auto-transmission car through thrifty.com (US site) for collection Saturday afternoon. Without having it prepaid, can I be sure there'll be a car waiting for me when I go to collect it there?

Also, despite the car's details showing it's auto, the printout from the website doesn't clearly specify so. Will this be entered into the system and honoured as I'm not experienced in driving manual. What's the chance of getting an auto-transmission car nearby in case there's no availability at Thrifty?
