Just signed up for Thrifty blue chip club after finding a favorable quote on orbitz. I usually go with Hertz or Avis due to the frequent bonus promos, but the Thrifty rate was well below the others. However, I was a bit surprised to discover that the rate quoted at thrifty.com was actually higher than the orbitz rate.
