AC's A34-500s have developed a bit of a reputation among FTers for develping mechanical problems. It causes delays and occasional substitution of an A340-300.

In fairness, however, it should be pointed out that AC only has two 345s, so the 343s are the logical substitute.
If you go back to posts in late February you'll see quite a bit of discussion on the reliability of the 345s. :)

Cheers for the good wishes forum! Am currently in the Raffles lounge at HKG. 16 hour flights suck, even in business class.
Boy those lie-flats are slippy! Also, if anyone finds a one headphone jack to two in seat 1A, then its likely mine..
