The first atomic bomb was used. 150,000 civilians were killed and it led, along with the atmoic bombing of Nagasaki, to the Japanese surrendering to the Allies in WW2, thus ending the war.
Always remember If there were no Pearl Harbor, there would not have been a Hiroshima.

Hiroshima is the Japan city that was obliterated by the U.S. in world war 2. Very shortly after that, The U.S. dropped a 2nd ATOM BOMB
on the city of Nagasaki. That city was also obliterated. Shortly there
