first off, get it on your foot and make sure its something you want for the rest of your life. you can remove the tattoo's later on with laser removal, but it is often painful and leaves scars. 2nd off, wait until your older, there's a reason why you have to be at least 18 to get it, its because your body isn't done growing. if you get a tattoo now and you begin to grow again your gonna have an ugly stretched out tattoo.
get it on ur foot or on ur neck where ur hair is.. or wait till u are 18 and get it with out her permission
get it on your foot def. you can hide it easier and yet show it off. i have a pink ribbon on my foot and i love it! :)
I would try out getting four of the same temporary tattoo and applying that onto your skin again and again for a month. If you like it afterwards then go ahead, if you don't then you will know that a tattoo is not for you.
Go with your foot, otherwise you will be answering questions about the tat on your wrist for the rest of your life.
Everyone has to worry about infections. Being a tat artist doesnt exclude your susceptibility to disease.
Being 14 you should prolly wait as you arent going to like any of the stuff you do now in 5 years. Why a star? Get something that means something to you, not something someone else has you think is cool.
There's no persuading parents, especially ones that dont have any work done. When your 18 they just lose the power to control what you do, unless you are still living in their house.
Being a permanent decision I would wait until you can legally get one on your own. At least then you will have proved that it's not a fickle teenager decision and something you'll be more happy living with. A star on your wrist or foot is pretty common. For women the only good places are spots that are unlikely to get too chunky as you age, like on your shoulder blades.
DO NOT get one until your 18
it is illegal & you'll probablly regret it in like 5 years anyway!!!!!!
Sorry, but I would have to agree with your mom. your only 14 at-least think about it 4 more yrs.then if you still want one then take yourself. and if you get it on your own,you better make sure where you get it is sterile and a safe environment. remember things that can go bad quick if the needle is not sterile. etc... just think about some more... please....
Ok so I am 17 and wanted one too when I was 14. And my friends dad gave me some great advice.
He said to take a year to think about it. and during that year, keep applying henna or a temp tattoo where you are thinking about. Because when you are 14 you make descision you will regret.
And I know i probably sound like your parents or an old grumpy grandma. But I took his advice and it worked out for the better. And one year is not that long. You probably will change your mind, especially since a star is a trend.
But I would definatley think about the device.
I did and I am glad I did. I have changed my mind soo many times over the years, and I think you probably might too.
That is the best advice I can give.
I hope you think about it, and also you can have a year to think about some good persuading techniques.
