hi.i have been thinking about getting this for a while. when i am able to get a tatt (parents dont allow it till 18-19), i was thinking of getting a metallica star on my wrist (underside). prolly gunna be black and red. not that big, and might get a Canadian flag in the middle or near... to rep my country. people say that, i shouldnt get a band tattoo cause i will regret it, and might not like them in 2 years. Metallica is the first metal band i listened to and is what got me into thrash. i want to show that. so good idea? bad idea? heres a pic of the star. not what mine is gunna look like (colour wize) , but just to show what a metallica star is. opinions? thanks everyone.
My advice: dont get it on your wrist because when you get older and want to get a respectable job its gonna be hard to cover it up without wearing long sleeves all the time. Think about it. Get it on your shoulder or leg or something that will be easy to cover up
Just do it!
Well to tell you the truth it is a badass star. But its true you might not like them in the future. But hey its your body. :-)
And what happens when the whole band gets put in jail for a ss ******** little kids? Gayest thing you could do by far. Be original you f ag.
use the original design but make it different and make it your own
My boyfriend put those on the backs of his arms. back where people usually put nautical stars. He had the artist fill in all the white spots with red and they're pretty bad ***.
Thats an awesome star! and i think if you like this band go for it, some tattoos can evan be covered up if you don't like it in the future [thou some cant] so i say its YOUR choice! u do what YOU wanna do..
Good Luck!
&
I Hope This Helps!
:D
I used to love Metallica myself. they were my first favorite band even. but if I had actually gone through with a Metallica tattoo, I'd be covering it up now. IN MY OPINION, this is a bad idea because, like you already said, you might regret it. I know I would. besides, IN MY OPINION, Metallica sucks. St. Anger was one of the worst albums I have ever heard. who knows, maybe one day you will come across an album that you don't like or something else may happen that will make you change how you feel about the band, and then you're left with a Metallica tattoo that you hate and you either then have to spend more money to get it covered up or tons of money and go through terrible pain to get it removed. but, the choice is yours.
that a cool design that can hang in there and not look dated. my brother has a band design and he loves it i think it is a pink floyd design.. im not sure because he was smart and didn't have words with it. it is still cool looking
You sure u wanna do it??? Well all the best
I have 4 band tattoos,
and I don't regret it in the least.
Go for it.
And Metallica is just freakin awesome.
DON"T!!! If u ever want ta get a GOOD career job it might and probably will affect u're chances of bein hired!
OK, first things first - not only do your parents not allow you to get inked until you are 18/19, but the LAW prohibits anyone FROM inking you until you are 18.
If you find a studio who is willing to break the law in that respect, just ponder what other rules and regulations they might not pay attention too....
As for the design itself, I quite like it. Those who know what it is will know, and those who don't know will think it is a pretty snazzy little design!
But, please, wait until you are 18 - not because you are too immature, not because you haven't thought about it enough, not because I don't like the design - but for your own health and safety.
Wait, and go to a good, legal, clean, reputable artist.
Good luck =)
because of your reasoning i say go for it..
