They are not fat by any means but I want to make sure that it does not happen. I am careful about what to feed them, watching the fat content and they have access to an exercise wheel all the time and they have a large cage for running and playing and climbing. Is there anything more that I can do? What types of foods would you recommend?
Limiting their fat content seems a drastic choice.

Do you have a pre-made food you supply them with, or are you feeding them fresh foods?

Are you giving them carbs? They can't really process the simple ones, from what I've read.
Its not what you are feeding them but the portion size. Just cut down.
