And he's one of those guys that just starts talking to you....like you know when they just OBVIOUS flirt? For instance, "you're beautiful" is something he'll just randomly say...or like he wrote "i luv u" in glue on the back of one of his art projects haha. and im like...okkkk, and he's pretty cute plus hes 2 grades above me...and pretty popular too. and he also just randomly came up and gave me a hug one day...i just sort of stood there lol.
anyways - so my question is....he seems like the kind of guy that just does that, you know, to like any girl who's cute, he'd probably just start coming on to them...but im not really sure cause i've never seen him being like that around any other girl but me... so im somewhat interested...do you think he actually likes me, or do you think he's just being "one of those guys"?

Well in the end it doesn't really matter. Although he "might" like other girls, if you know he's not a jerk that would just hump n dump you (lol) then don't be scared to ask him out. In most grown up relations, love comes after dates.

he's one of those guys. I had a similar situation, and I was at his status with popularity and attractiveness, just 2 years younger.. and he played me for a fool. it was aweful.. first guy I ever fell for too. it was a disaster. be friends and set your limits. I didn't get used, just stood up.. but only one time, because I wasn't stupid enough to do it again.
He flirted and we hung out at his house, but then invited me to a concert, and once I found out who all was going and just thought it was going to be us 2, I said I would go, and he ended up giving my ticket away because he said I wasn't interested enough! It was lame. but it upset me alot.. then a couple months later expressed a lot of interest but I kept him at a distance, he asked me on a few dates, and I found out he had a girlfriend at another school. SHADY business.

He may just be that guy. The one who, while sincere about you being beautiful, is just a flirtatious guy. He would probably be a good friend, but I don't think it would go much further. My best friend in high school was the same way. He was super flirty with just me. He hugged me all the time, told me how hot I was, and was always throwing out silly pick-up lines. At the end of everything, we both kind of liked each other so we gave it a shot, it didn't work but we are still really close today! But, if he's that into you, he will ask you himself so I would wait!
