    for the past few days the top part of my right foot has been hurting. I thought that it would pass, but this morning it is actually worse and i am limping. what could it be?


  • If you're asking about it on here, I am taking that as a sign of concern and that you should probably go get checked out. I would try to recall what you may have done to cause the injury and then get it checked out by your family doctor - or at least call the doctor and see if they could tell you what to possibly do over the phone. Good luck!


  • May be a strain. Go to the Doctor. You may want to try Advil if you can take ibuprofen.


  • Yes, go to the doctor. Unsure if you have swelling and redness but, there is something called Gout and you may be experiencing this which must be treated to go away.

  • I could be a lot of things, maybe a stress fracture? The fact that you're getting worse, not better usually means a trip to the doctor is a good idea.

    If nothing else, you'll know it's not serious and have a framework of what to do and expect.
