Its normal my dog is fixed and she kept humpying everything I think its a sign of trying to control and be in charge , dont smack or kick the pet just move thethings and order the dog to stay or sit and give the pet a treat when he/she does
as my vet says, when humping other animals it is dominance, when humping everything it is aroused. you can take away the ability but not the urge to reproduce.
Its funny how dogs continue to do that my male dog didn't but my female dog did,, she tries to act like the male ,, and it is quite embarrassing my dad calls her a Dike,,LOL but I think it is her showing dominance,, because she bully's my male dog when it comes to food or them playing with me she tries to push him out of the way...
You've still got to teach him not to. Males do it, because they want to have sex, or if a female isn't fixed, that too. However, nothing will happen.
