i'm trying to pierce my septum,
and i've got all the items and such,
but the problem is,
i stopped trying for 30 minutes,
and it hurts when i do it again.
the other problem: it won't go through!
please help!

well, what are you piercing it with? Is it sharp enough? You could be inflicting more pain by doing it with a dull needle/safety pin/whatever.
You could either wait a day or so, until it stops hurting, but I understand the feeling of you wanting to pierce yourself...so numb it with ice. Wait until you can't feel your nose anymore, but you'll have to act quickly Take a deep breath, exhale, and then push it through, don't hesitate. Oh, and DO IT WITH A SHARP NEEDLE.

Actually, a professional piercing needle would have been better, if you have one, but it might be too late for that. :D
Anyways, after you get it through, clean it thoroughly with soap and water, and don't touch it. I hope you have some sterilized jewelry to put in there, as well.
Your Septum Is VERY Thick.
It Will Take Quite A While To Do It Yourself Cause Septum's Can Be Really Painful To Pierce So You'll Always Stop Yourself When It Hurts Too Much.
You Can Always Still Go To A Professional, They Can't Refuse To Do It Cause You Already Tried. When I Was 12 I Tried To Pierce My Belly Button Myself But It Didn't Go Very Well, So I Went To A Pro & They Finished The Job With No Problems.
I would get it done professionally, Its not that expensive, and its much less likely to get infected.
If you do get it through though, use lots and lots of saline solution.
 Is there prescription pain medication you can get to stop physical pain from depression?
 Does a enema really help with constipation?
