I'm looking for a good quality 300+dpi scan of an image from the
November 30, 1992 New Yorker magazine. It's the first page of a
Postscript by Edward J. Epstein about the movie JFK, and it includes
an AP photograph that the AP itself no longer has a copy of. I have
the rights to reproduce it, but this is the only print I know of to
reproduce from. I don't imagine the scan on the complete New Yorker
DVD is good enough quality or printable. I don't see a local library
(NYC) that has more than microfilm, and even if they had bound copies,
that would be dicey to scan from because this image is in the gutter.
Not confident they'd let me scan it at the library anyway. I'd be glad
to find a copy of the issue to buy, find someone who can send a scan
from their issue, or any other way forward. Thanks, s
