i'm trying to connect my modded xb to weather, time server and so on...
my xbox is in my lan through a hub and i can successfully access it via ftp and http from a pc in the same lan
the xbox is set with static ip, as follows:

first, i tried with the usual nameserver from my isp, then changed it to the same ip of the squid proxy (a linux pc with 2 lan cards) acting in my lan as proxy for connecting to internet (192.168.0.1)
the time in the xbox is wrong and weather infos not appearing. if needed to know, the news banner in the first page of xmbc is rolling with some news appearing in it.

same prob here sinde cvs build from the 25.9

one more info:
i can successfully connect to the smb share from the xb to the pc (the same with two lan cards acting as a proxy) and well play medias through the lan.
