i'm applyin for my provisional....do i need to get my photo signed? if i do what needs to be written on it? and how many photo's do i need to include?
If its the same as for a passport u wud need t get sum1 like a doctor or teacher to sign the back stating that it is a true likeness of u.
Just the 1 photo and sign the back of it with the name of the person.
I got mine dun 8 months ago and all u need 2 include is a PASSPORT SIZED PHOTO and ur PASSPORT. this way they can c that ur a british citizen from ur passport and ur picture matches up wiv that so it is sorted. but if u dont hav a passport then ur in siht street

1 photo is all that's needed, plus proof of identity such as a passport, birth certificate etc.
If you are using an up-to-date passport as the required proof of identity then the photo does not need to be certifed that it is you by someone else.
If you are using anything other than a recently issued passport as proof of ID, the photo has to be signed on the back by "someone reliable" who is not related to you, lives in the UK and who has known you personally for at least 2 years! This person also has to fill in a section on the licence application form too.

The application form for your licence will tell you the exact wording that needs to be written.
Suitable "reliable someone's " include;
a local business person or shopkeeper
a librarian
a professionally qualified person, for example, a lawyer, teacher or engineer
a police officer
a bank or building society officer
a civil servant
a minister of religion
a magistrate
a local councillor or MP
