basically I want to know whether anyone else breaks out into sweat once they've walked about 10 minutes at a brisk pace. I don't know where it comes from. I'm quite athletic, about 1,75m tall and weigh 68kg, walk or bike every day and do about 6 hrs worth of strenuous exercise a week, so I shouldn't be having problems - maybe it's a circulatory problem? I hate it - I walk to university (takes about 30 minutes) and I feel all clammy and sweaty at the end. It's cold sweat too, doesn't smell and dries up very quickly once I stop moving. Also, when I go to bed at night I just have to lie under the blanket for about a minute and I'm boiling hot, though not sweaty - but my feet are freezing. I have not had this all my life, only for the past 3 years or so and I have no idea where it came from. does anyone know what's up or how I could 'treat' this?
I think that you should go to see your doctor for a full
check-up and explain exactly what is happening to you.
I'm not a doctor ~ so can't give you the answer you are probably looking for ~ but ~ you are working out a lot ~ you don't say if you get short of breath in any of this?
Regardless ~ I would see my doc. and explain as you have done here ~ a full check up wouldn't do any harm ~ and it may uncover something which needs to be sorted [minor I hasten to add] but all the same, I would play safe and have a check.
Is there any arteries/veins in the leg by the ankle ?
