hi: i'm having a little problem with the word outline. i was typing my notes in outline view because that is how our professor gives it to us in class. However, whenever i get to the level 5 indent, word would automatically add a page break right after that level, and of course there would be a big gap from there to the next page. Anyone know how to get rid of this page break so i can print everything on one page? thx.
What is the format of the FOLLOWING paragraph? Check that the style doesn't have "Page Break Before" chosen under Format--> Mactopia Product Forums: Word::

basically i have everything in outline form with bullets and numbers etc. However when i get to the 5th level, it breaks everything up to two pages after that; so to answer your question, the format of the following paragraph is still in outline form. Everthing is the same except that word automatically inserts a page break right after the 5th level. I did check the format, but the "page break b4" was not checked. Any other ideas? thx! There is not a style called "outline form". Please click on the paragraph that starts on the page after the 5th level. Look at the style dropdown. What's the style? Do you have auto formatting settings on? You can turn them off. See:
