Good. If sex is done with respect and passion it's beautiful act regardless if it's a one night stand , a regular buddy or a life time partner. Unfortunately some tend to be selfish or use it as an instant gratification while all along making it boring, hurtful and sometimes degrading for their perspective partners.

When I was younger it was fine for me. Then something happened, I found someone I could share a spiritual connection with and it made it a million times more deep and meaningful. If I didn't have this anymore it would take me some time before I'd consider doing anything with anyone else, casual or not.

It completely depends. If you both decide you don't want or need a relationship at the time and neither one gets attached I think its a really good thing. however if someone is only looking for casual sex and the other is longing for a relationship we all know how ugly that can get.
