which do you prefer for transportation?

That totally depends on the distance that you will ride.
If it is around the corner I'd take a trycicle.
If it is within Town but not to far from the route, I'd take a Jeep.
If it is more that 2 Jeep rides away, I'd take a cab.
If it is quite far (Baguio-San Juan, LU/ Baguio-Manila), I'd take a Bus.
I've never seen pedicabs here though.

different distances call for different modes of transport. I'd not like to sit 12 hours in a Jeep just to go to Manila, nor would I take a Bus from San Juan just to reach the town center etc...

Bus drivers are probably the most aggressive due to their size dominance. an archaic, sadistic, human-powered version of the tricycle- thats the pedicab.

pedicab not affected by gas prices but by rice prices
I prefer riding in Jeep.
The normal transportation vehicle here is a tricycle.
