Open House.The NWS Norman Forecast Office will have an open house this Saturday, October 16th, 2004 from 9 am - 1 pm CDT. The open house is part of the 40th anniversary celebration of our partners at the National Severe Storms Laboratory (NSSL). The open house, which will also include the NSSL, Storm Prediction Center (SPC), Radar Operations Center (ROC), and Warning Decision Training Branch (WDTB), is free and open to the public. Wow, just like the old days. I guess the Government feels we're no longer a threat :wink: Lotta folks missed this event in its absence during 2001-03.
Had a good time...a lot of info on the new radars, and found out about the severe winter weather research :shock: . Anybody else get to go?
