well... take a beaker fill it with acid (most likely sulfuric acid) u can also add some distilled water accoring to the requirements and then hook in the terminals negative & positive. connect wires (probably copper & zinc wires r common) to each of the terminals. connect it again to a small electric bulb you can see it glowing. you canalso note down the voltage using a multimeter. thhe voltage may be damn low i bet
