It fell off the top side of the wall of the aquarium, and crawled back up and now he is slipping when he tries to crawl back down. What would be the best thing to do?

Here is what I think, first rose hairs are usually very lazy and just sit around. That would be a happy tarantula when he's inactive and just sits around, mine does i rarely see him in a different place let alone climbing, mine never climbed. When they are moving and especially climbing up the glass, that usually means there not comfortable or happy in their home. Could be the cause of wet substrate, so dry it out and never water the substrate a water dish should provide more than enough humidity. So keep a dry dry substrate, never water substrate with this species. This species is from a desert in Chile. Also must provide something for him to hide under, THIS IS A MUST. Here is the solution to your problem with him climbing up the glass: Just put more substrate in, so when he falls from the top he only falls 5 maybe 6 inches. Honestly, I have never had a tarantula before. Judging by the circumstances, it probably has a minor leg injury. My guess is that it will heal up in a day or two. If it doesn't, consider taking it to a vet for a checkup.
