on the mouth. Dad is fine now but the young one is swollen on his lower lip and it looks sore. No hair is left there. He has three spots where crust is on him and two are red and healing from flea bites. Is this a common thing should i be worried? He plays and eats and bites his brother and sister nothing bothers him. It just looks funny and sore. Is he reacting to the meds since he licks alot what can i do for him? Itch Mites Information::
He was ill a few weeks ago and the vet theorized that he wasnt processing his I would say he has lost at least half of his fur.

Contact your vet. Some of these meds aren't good for kittens under a certain age.

well i work at a kennel.... and we do grooming and boarding. it's not the age.....if they are 5 months old. cats can be a lot more sensitive to pesticides than dogs. it does sound like they are having a reaction to the frontline plus. if you can not take them to the vet keep a close eye on their behavors... such as eating water intake and going potty. if anything seems out of the ordinary take them to the vet ASAP. cats can go into renal failure from pesticides.... good luck i hope they will be fine.
