*****....I'm not joking its getting beyond a joke.
I called her this morning to see how she was and she was all grumpy and saying she was tired....which is fair enough so I thought i would cheer her up and ask whether she was coming to this halloween theme night at a club i'm going to...she didn't really answer, so i said i was going as a cat and she says ' oh that's original well done!' which really made me feel crap! I mean i have put alot of effort into the outfit, i have a black and pink tutu and pink leg warmers and pink and black cat ears....i just don't really have the money to actually buy a made costume....i just hate the way she is no blurgh about things and makes me and everyone else feel like rubbish! I just dont know what to do!
Your costunme sounds fantastic... i think she may be jealous of your textile skills and more seriously your ability to look on the bright side of life. You know, she could have been tired that time, and she didn't mean to offend you. Although, if this has happened before, I really think you should talk to her about it. It's not right that she's always bringing you down like that. If she gets offended and walks away, just ignore her for the next couple of days.
I had a friend who was like that and in the end I just told her that she shouldnt speak to people that way and she stopped for a while but we slowly drifted apart anyway as she just couldnt be bothered to make any effort with me. I think that you should just leave her be, dont make any effort with her at all, go out with your other friends for holloween and enjoy yourself. She can stay in and be miserable and it might teach her a lesson!
I'd confront her. Ask her straight out why she's being such a cow to you! She might not even realise how she's been behaving! If she continues to treat you badly after you've confront her, I'd say she isn't a true friend and maybe you should start putting your time and energy into other friends... Best of luck...! :)
