is there any way to run two copies of xbmc (same build) on the same xbox?
i need to change all of my settings to get some 720p video to play (caches all down, ftp server off, etc...), however it's a pain to go back and reset all my caches, etc. each time.
i would like to be able to boot into one copy for just playing video and one for everything else. is it possible since they share the same tdata/udata directory? or is there a way to change that?
thanks!
p.s. a way to do it that doesn't require me to recompile the build.. :)
it's not a matter of running in 720p mode, it's actually running video encoded in 1280x720p resoultion (hd video). so i need to conserver all possible memory by disabling caches, etc.
i will take a look at the profiles and see if that works.
Skinner XBMC - XBOX Media Center FR:: XBMC can run in multiple resolutions, and thus can use different files for some and place the altered copies of each of the textures in them. http://manuel.xbmc.fr/index.php?title=Skinner_XBMCHOME | no. you cant have two copies as they store their settings in the same place. you can, however, use profiles but i'm not sure if *all* the options are profile aware.
edit... i run in 720p and dont need to do all that. caches are at default, and ftp is enabled.
oh ur trying to run hd video... yeah, in that case you'd need to conserve as much memory as possible.
How much does getting a small tattoo on your hip/stomach hurt?
Do anyone else have an itchy anus? ?
