I want to buy movie editing software to use for making movies. I want to be able to speed up the video, be able to blur things, and other effects. What has a lot of effects, but is cheap??
for free u can download iMovie HD off apple.com. its wicked awesome, its free, but its for macs only.
usually a laptop or pc or whatever has movie maker? if yours doesnt, I'm sure u can buy it.

It has effects like slow motion, good transitions between clips, background music etc.
I made my sister a movie clip of her son and i made her cry (Y) lol.
You can just upload a video from ur phone or it can all just be pictures

It depends on your computer. If you have windows, download Windows Movie Maker. If its a Mac, I suggest iMovie HD 6, not iMovie 08. I have both of those. They are pretty much the same, but iMovie 08 doesn't have the awesome effects that HD 6 has. By the way, they are all free!

You may try AVS Video Editor, it's a nice video editor that can help you edit, join, trim, crop, convert and cut video, my friends recommend it to me, it's easy to use and works pretty well for me, it embeds many special effects. I had made a video with it and the video got award, that's pretty cool.
