Tell your mum how you feel, and that you really should take the vets advice.

okay, I don't want offend your mom or anything but she is being totally CRUEL! If the vet has advised you that your dog can't have anymore then it can't. Your dog might die because its tiring to have puppies soooooo many times. Your moms totally mean! I mean your dog can't have anymore so there's no way it can have any more and your moms forcing it! You should tell your mum that it is cruel to make your dog have puppies especially if she has had lots of litters before.
If the vet told your mum your dog cannot have anymore then try and convince your mum not to mate your dog, 8 years old is too old for a dog to have puppies.

This is not your dog. It belongs to Mom. As long as she hasn't abused it, has fed it and provided medical care, it's not illegal. Mom owns the dog, pays the bills, and is responsible for it. I am sure it will be ok. She has obviously provided medical care for her dog in the past. There is no reason to think she will stop. I personally wouldn't rebreed a dog who had a section, but many people do. And they turn out ok.
there is not much you can do, if your mom already took the dog to Des Moines, and it's her dog, I guess it's her decision. Puppies are really cute, sweet and fun, you might change your mind later.
I would call the vet yourself and tell him what your mom is doing. If the vet advised her to not do this again it probably is in the best interest of the dog to not have anymore babies. If a dog is bred too many times the delivery can be more difficult and pregnancy can be very high risk. The vet will know what to do in this event. Let them know how you feel too, as the dog can not speak and is probably screaming out for help herself.

Tell her that if she loves you and your dog then she will stop putting the dog through this torture. the dog is much to old to be breeding anymore. If she disagrees, then i do not know what to tell you. The only thing you can do is call the police, and i know you love your mom more than your dog. Animals are important, but family is more important. You have to convince your mom that she is turning into a monster.
