Well my hubby has decided on the name Makayla for our daughter. I let him choose because I got to name our son and he loved this name! (Plus never in a million years would we have 100% agreed on any name! haha) I DO like the name too. Well I have to pick a middle name and I have been having a hard time. Our last name is Smith so its pretty easy to work with but I just couldn't find something that I really like that flowed nicely. Plus I WOULD like to use a family name but I couldn't choose one side of the family over the other.....well at dinner last night with my in-laws we were talking about names and found out my FIL's mothers (hubbys grandma) middle name is Anne.....which also happens to be my moms name. Im not 100% sold on it yet but I wanted to know what you all think!

Makayla Anne Smith is the one that I would chose. It looks more classy. But you don't always have to use that as a middle name. I like Makayla Dawn Smith. You could always have it be something like your sons middle name, that way he would feel included as well. My niece just did that with her daughter. I dont know what her middle name is, but Quinn is a good choice. I like how Eden Quinn sounds. name. I like Brynna, but not with Eden for a middle name.

My daughter's name is Michaela Rose but I ALMOST names her Michaela Anne and I love the sound of the two names together, they're very complimenting. Way to find a compromise, kudos and congratulations!
It sounds nice but the names are very common.
I thought of Ann before I even saw that was the name you were asking about. With a fairly long first name, I prefer a simple middle name.
I like it with an 'e' personally...Anne...
