Is it possible to use a macro to do this (i.e. remove all blank spaces at the beginning of each line to ensure the text starts at the left margin, and then go to the next line and repeat this process until the end of the document - while not deleting complete blank lines between paragraphs)?

Many thanks,

Cool beans, Les. :)
OMG....
You don't need a macro.
Try this (save your doc to a new name first).
Ctrl+H
In the find what, type: ^p followed by a space
In the replace with, type: ^p (all by itself)
Hit replace all.
You may need to hit replace all several times until zero replacements are made.
Anne,
That worked perfectly - thanks a lot!
