What would the best military branch before me if I excel in science and computers, and I can learn fast. I also want to be on/near the frontlines. I was thinking Navy SEALs or Army Green Beret. (I know those are special forces groups.) I'm not sure what you mean by science but you could be an Army medic (68W). They get taught medical science, as a guy you could be on the "front lines" (such as they are) with a combat unit.
It will be very difficult to do both. I used to have that same question. I'm currently doing Satellite Communications (25S) in the Army. I'm working with Multi-billion dollar equipment, my education will carry over to civilian life when I get out (think 6 figures!) and science, computers, physics, and some astronomy all are Incorporated. Great Job! unfortunately, you can't pick where you go, only influence and request. Some 25S work in Special Forces Groups. Drop me a line for more information if interested.
