You may have carpal tunnel syndrome. Its cause by the compression of the median nerve in your hand. Get it checked out by your doc.
hehe stick it in ice bcos cold stuff makes blood rush to that place if tht doesnt work get to a doctor it could be very serious and amputation can be involved
My mom had that feeling in her hands for a while before she had a heart attack. Whether it's as serious as that or if it's carpal tunnel syndrome, call up your doctor. Better to be safe than sorry. And when you're all better, play me a song, yay.

Sounds a bit like carpel-tunnel syndrome. It's probably from bending your wrist to push down on the neck. Just give the muscles some time to heal, they are probably inflamed right now so cut down on the playing time and try some ice on your wrist as well. When the muscles are inflamed like this they sometimes disturb the blood flow to your hands causing the numbness and tingling.
If this doesn't help in the next couple days then go see the doctor as it might be a little more serious.
