My daughter (13 months) has no firm attachment to any bear or blanket, she picks her bears/dolls up and cuddles them and says 'aaah!' but then chucks them again! I had a puppet of a dog when I was a baby that I wouldn't go anywhere with out and am sort of looking foward to her getting attached to something. Does your child have an object like this, and what is it?

My son is attached to a little stuffed moose with purple antlers. He likes to have it with him in his car seat and stroller. He always has to have it when we're not at home

My daughter is like yours, but she is almost 4. She's never really been attached to anything. She's played with dolls, loved on a blanket, but nothing she has all the time or can't go anywhere without. I think she realizes there's more to life than one single object and has love for many.

My daughter doesn't really have an attachment to anything besides a bink and she only takes it for bedtime. I was wondering the same question too. I had a diaper I would rub the tabs and my sister had a blanket but they were only used at bedtime. That's funny we both would like our kids to have a special comfort item.

Yes, he has a little lion. He smiles so big when he sees it. And he roars like a lion. He's 14 months. I think he'll have it for his entire life. I had a pink walrus when I was a baby. I still have it and still sleep with it. Hah

with my son who is almost 18 months its the disney pixar cars movie dvd box. I took the dvd out which is constanly in the dvd player and he takes tjat thing everywhere. I hope he doesn't want to graduate with it I could picture it now diploma in one hand cars dvd box in the other both arms raised above his head. oh lord help me

there is no one thing that she has to have but theres the blankie my grandmother made for me when i was born and she loves sleeping with it at night

At birth my mom gave me a blanket that i called magic, because it was the only descriptive word i could use for a soft cool material. One time we went on a trip when i was 5, and it got left behind. I made my dad turn around and drive 75 miles back so i could have it. I'm 17 now, and secretly i still have it hiding in my bottom desk drawer, not because i need it any more, but because i still feel a slight emotional attachment to it.

its not one thing. like if we go to the store my 2 year old has to bring a stuffed animal with her.. and out of the 100's she has.. and when she goes to bed she has to have one of her blankets... she will go get one and come to bed.. its very cute...

my nephew went through about a 2 month period of having to have his yellow dog stuffed animal with him or he would cry. He's 3 now and really doesn't have to have anything with him.
