i know witchcraft takes time, and after seeing the skeleton key with kate hudson, i was scared as fcuk. so someone give me advice on where i can get a witchcraft book, and everything thank you everyone
that would be personal gain and white witches dont do that but any one that is into all that black magic would be considered evil.
You can get a book at any book store except for christian book stores but learning witchcraft takes time. You cant just open a book and chant a spell you have to learn about how everything works and all.
Remember "anything done for personal gain comes back to you 3 fold". That is the number one rule next to "Harm None"
Witchcraft works like this:
basically there is energy in the universe that we use everyday. Things like... the energy in your body you use to breathe, move around, etc. There's also energy in things like the sun, the earth, etc.
Witchcraft is a practice of using energy to attain a certain goal. A lot of the time its practices building up of energies that we typically do not recognize or take for granted.
So to answer the immediate question: There are spells and things for love and to do harm, but you would have to be able to control a great deal of energy to make that happen.

The other thing is that these things you want to do go against free will. Another element of witchcraft is the belief that any energy you put forth will come back to you, so doing things like love spells and spells to do harm on someone will only cause yourself trouble in the long run.
Plus why would you want to force someone to love you? it wouldnt be genuine.

Well I am a Wiccan (a religion where you are called a "witch" a lot lol) and I practice witchcraft a lot so yeah I would have to go with that it's real xD
It's really not a scary thing. There's no reason for you to be afraid.
Bad spells(curses) or spells that take someone's free will away(love spells) will NOT work. Like you cannot force people to do things through your spells. It just won't happen. Or if you are trying to hurt someone, that won't work either.
It just takes lots of practice.
For a good spell book, go on www.froogle.com and type in wiccan/pagan(whatever relgion you are) spell book.

Honestly, witchcraft is just using your thoughts to bring your desires into fruition. The stuff that Wiccans do like casting sacred space, calling the quarters and all that stuff isn't even necessary. All you have to do is pray for it, work for it, and believe that you have it already. Curses are just as effective, people put curses on themselves all the time because they'll say bad things about themselves and then they'll just feel horrible later in the day. Wicca is just a mix and match of different religions put into one category and then called a spiritual practice. It's just like Christianity in a lot of ways because all those religions do is take from other religious beliefs and add them to their own personal beliefs. If I was you, I would go with Celtic, Greek, Roman, Slavic, or some other religion that is actually relevant. Just go get yourself a book of myths and decide what culture catches your attention most and follow that religion. Those religions will have their own religions and magical practices (if you want to put it that way) of their own that are unique. It's the better way to go, in my opinion.

If you mean is it real as in does it exist, then yeah it's real. If you mean can you fly on a broom or turn your cousin into a toad, then no. Harry Potter witchcraft is fantasy. However everyday magic, fortune telling, herbal medicines, potions, spells, etc. are real.

Oh - and as far as love spells? Sure, they work too, but not like you think. If you bind someone to you by magic, someone who wouldn't have loved you on their own, you are asking for a lot of trouble for yourself. There is a good reason for that old cliche "Be careful what you wish for."
