Bad economy. Wars. Poverty. Disease. Immorality. Atheism. Etc etc etc etc.
Is Western Civilization crumbling?
Actually, I don't think it is. But it is quickly and very profoundly changing. The world in a few decades will be nothing like it is today. The Secret of Divine Civilization:: processes of civilization throughout this noble land, and to translate from because this is only the beginning of the new administrative http://www.sacred-texts.com/bhi/abdulbaha/sdc01.txtHOME | Unlikely Stories: Jonathan Penton:: The Decline of Western Civilization. by Jonathan Penton stranglehold on American culture, the concept is beginning to seem insignificant. http://www.flash.net/~unlikely/articles/penton0702.htmlHOME |
What do you think?
It's definitely changing.
I also think the time of the Western superpowers are fast coming to an end. The Global Economy will soon no longer be dominated by the West, I for one, will be keeping a close eye on the rise of China and India
All momentous events in history lead to change. Western Civilization is constantly changing.
I believe Western Civilization, like others, is evolving and changing but not crumbling. Everything that begins has an ending. The West is changing in specific ways for example the european union and trade agreements that have created a world economy dependent on the markets of the world to function in a manner that creates stability for most of them. Nothing stays the same. We innovate, adapt or we become extinct. 1320: Section 6: The Black Death:: Beginning in 1347 and continuing for a full five years, a devastating plague Death is the single most significant disease in Western civilization to date, http://www.usu.edu/markdamen/1320Hist&Civ/chapters/06PLAGUE.htmHOME |
I think it has started crumbling, change is a decent word.
