well on the wrist is going to be tough to hide, i just got one last week on the top of my foot. I had been wanting it for a long time, its a bunch of stars...about 10 or so....i can always wear a shoe that covers it...
I think the idea is great and sounds very well thought out.... if stars are you...then yes add some...make it fit your style ...your gonna have it forever
Just something to research...can you really tattoo on top of a bunch of scar tissue? I'm not sure how well that would work.
i love the concept, i'd suggest getting the text above or below the scars, so you can still see them, and itll all be a reminder. wrist tattoos arent that hard to cover up, i noticed that after i got mine, ive had it for over a month now, and someone i work with almost every day was surprised yesterday when they noticed. and if all else fails, theres always makeup or sleeves.as far as colors go, you could use a font like this(http://www.fonts.com/findfonts/detail.ht... and make the text black with red inside the gaps.
and while that is a nice picture of a cupcake that made me hungry, not quite tattoo related...
i really hate to break this to u but most tattoo artists wont even think about tattooing over scar tissue one because it doesnt always heal properly and two because the ink wont always take to scar tissue, trust me i have enquired about it for my mum who wanted a zip put on her hysterctomy scar. good luck with trying to find an artist that will do it and if u do good luck with the healing and everything
A tattoo is a personal thing so you need to be happy with it yourself, its going to be with you forever! But the wrist is very hard to cover, my cousin has to wear long sleeves in the summer to work as hers is on her forearm. But other than that the placement needs to be your decision, scar tissue can be tattooed over as long as its a certain age (you might want to check)
It sounds like this would be good for you as part of the healing process.. and it is possible to get one over a scar but you would have to find a good artist, as far as covering it up, i have a friend that has one on her wrist and i have one as well, hers is in red and barely noticeably, mine a butterfly and a bit more noticeable but i have found that it is pretty easy to cover, as far as your stars of hearts, that would probably look really cute.
Just get it where you want and use makeup to cover it at your job interview or whatever.
I say get it wherever you want but if your really worried how it will look on your wrist see a plastic surgeon they have procedures that can really help minimize the apperence of scars. Why cover it when you can erase it.
Does this mean something {pics}?
Tattoo should i or not?
