Many cultures and religions belive that there is. If you take "Tibetan Book of the Dead" it outlines the whole path from one's death to the next reincarnation. Or, Christianity promises you that you will go to Heaven, only you have to believe in Jesus, Other earlier animistic/shamanic cultures claim that their representetives could travel to the other side and back, in fact they could catch other people's soul's there and bring them back to life....So there, you go - these are just some perspectives. I would have to say yes, I just don't see how you could say there isn't. I've had out of body experiences and felt like there is so much more out there when I look into the stars. Its a personal choice, but personally I have no doubt our existences continue after we die.

I use to think there was , but i read this article about what happens when you die , or like in the process , and its a little unsettling..
Have you heard of people who die for a few mins. and wake up claiming they saw family members in heaven and all that, well turns out that may and effect of the process when you die ,the hospital considers you dead when your heart isn't beating , fact is you brain is still working and allot of your other organs are still very much alive . The article said that those visions may all be REM (rapid eye movement) which is somewhat related to the state you are in when you are asleep .
Not only does this article scare me , but think about it , religion has allot to do with all those beliefs , and who started religion ?? people , true it is highly based on God and all that , but people are the ones that had all those "visions" and "signs" .. i really don't want to sound like im not religious i am , but study really does widen you perspective on allot of things. Religious explanations, are only our interpretation to the things that we do not understand .
So who knows... Maybe there is maybe there isn't life after death .
