Default my cat has been acting weird? http://americadebate.us/pets/49769-my-cat-has-been-acting-weird.htmlHOME | my cat ( Spidey )likes to climb into my windows and look at the birds also he enjoys playing with broken rubber bands , string and a laser. He often sniffs my hair and rubs my leg.
Oh and he has a Hernia
Yes HE is a house cat
is he werid?
he carried around stuffed animals? awwwwww my baby does the same!! no your cat is not weird if anything my cat is weird. i trained him to sit stay like a dog ( with no reinforcement a.k.a treats) he replies when you ask him questions, his favourite game is play fetch ( he will fetch you the ball and drop it in your hand) he is very picky, and loves wearing good quality clothing (harley davidson, punk outfits, cute rock outfits, rugby t shirts, and football shirts) and he does not mind wearing them the least bit!! Isn't my cat so original.
Oh yeahh we have a neighbor that me and my boyfriend and cat all three hate ( he is a real @$$hole mind my language) and my cat takes an everyday trip to his house to eat his plants (which are now all dead from the previous trips my cat took) we live in an apartment so my cat jumps to the next balcony and sneaks in his window into his kitchen and whole house LOLOLOL and breaks even more stuff there and my neighbor doesnt say anything because he knows my boyfriend will break his face, but my cat remembers my neighbor being a jerk to him and now seeks vengance and we let him because its funny.
Hiya
Just like any other cat, your kitty is enjoying kitty things. Most cats just love look out the window and watch birds. In fact, many will make a really cute sound, which sounds like chirping, when they get excited by seeing a bird. My cat, Hubble, not only sniffs my hair, but will give me a cat shampoo if I let him. Some cats are drawn to human hair and want to "groom" us.
Cats love to carry objects in their mouths. It is a throwback to hunting or with females, may be associated with carrying kittens, which is instinctual. Rubbing your leg is "scent marking" and claiming you has his. Nice compliment!
Two things that do need attention is rubber bands should never be permitted for a cat, broken or whole. Cats may ingest them accidently which can cause a huge problem in their digestive tract. Unless you are with him while he is playing, never let a cat play with string, unsupervised, for the same reason.
Most cats are totally drawn to computers for their warmth, and many cats stretch out on the keyboard, making it impossible to use it. LOL. Lamps also are warm and most cats love to push objects around. My cat Hush Puppy, will rub against anything on our coffee table and push items onto the floor. I wonder if he is doing some kind of "scientific" project to see how long it takes for them to land on the ground.
As far as the laser toy is concerned, many cats enjoy playing with them, and at the same time caution must be exercised that the beam does not make contact with their eyes. This can cause blindness. So be careful, please.
It would be a good idea to talk with your vet about the hernia, and ask his advise. It is probably prudent to have it surgically repaired, depending on the type and location.
Your cat is totally normal and sounds delightful. You are a lucky cat servant, and thanks for keeping him indoors.
