I am a slim 140lbs woman trying to get rid of my stomach and love handles from birthing two children. Do I really have to cut down carbs and attempt to watch calories to obtain my goal? I'm not really a big person just have minor problem areas. I don't want to lose the shape i have altogether just tighten and lift a few areas.
To get back into the shape you want, you will need a low carb and low calorie diet but also, as much cardio exercise as you can manage. ideally, workout for 45 mins 4 times a week. I recommend, running, jumping rope and if you can get to a gym, the rowing machine. this will help with all over toning and then you can also do toning exercises for your tummy like scissor kicks and reverse crunches. but remember, the diet and cardio are the main things to get you where you want.
No carb thing definitely don't do that. Any diet that makes you remove food groups is a bad thing cause it's bad for your body. I would just say eat more fruits and veggies to increase your fiber intake and drink plenty of water. I wouldn't worry about cutting or counting calories.
