Obama is polite
It shows that Obama is the bigger person between the two of them. It tells us a lot about his character, which is of higher caliber than McSame. Personally I would rather have a president that can listen and admit when they agree, even in competition than someone that wants to sit around and rehash old war stories.

I'd much rather have seen Ron Paul on that stage than McCain, but McCain was right on a lot of things. Obama simply rephrased what McCain said, in general terms.
