  • In a non community property state, if one spouse defaults on a debt and receives a judgment (hypothetical) against a debt that is only in their name, other spouse not a cosigner or authorized user, and never used for joint purposes, can the other spouse ever be added to the account (after the fact by a collection agency fraudulently) or could the other spouse ever be "legally" forced into helping to satisfy the judgment...wage garnishment, lien on property etc. Or would the spouse who owes the debt and/or judgment be the only one that
