As a new mom you're probably not getting the rest you normally would. Lack of sleep is powerful enough to weaken your immune system, impair your judgment, increase chance of depression.
I bet that its not the fact that your immune system is weaker because of delivery. You are probable getting sick because after having a baby your own health goes onto the second burner. You lack sleep, eat when you get a chance and sometimes can't remember when the last you ate was, and decrease exercise because you gave birth. All of these items weaken your immune system.
Any suggestions on getting my baby to nap longer than a half hour each time.?
A month later and still in pain?
