first off id like to appologize... i tried doing a search on this and nothing helped...
im computer iliterate... but here goes
one of my buddies set up my xbmc....
i use avalaunch and am able to find all my files/video/music, but when i look them up through xbmc nothing shows up... i have an e drive and an f drive, f drive holds all my files/music/videos.... for kicks i places a vid on the e drive and xbmc then was able to see the vid.... so what i think is going on is that my xbmc is set to e drive....
Not sure whats this, but i found a way to control it.::
by things or persons that i was sure were going to kill me, at this point my Im not sure how much time this part or the whole thing lasts, but it feels like

if this is the case how do i change the path? (i cant connect my xbox to a comp to edit files...)

no it doesn't meant that, read the manual, you just need to edit the xboxmediacenter.xml file (it's just a text file so you can open it with notepad on your windows computer) Unable to connect [Archive] - Ventrilo Tech Support::
