yes. It is called HSV-1 oral herpes. You can google it. But if you are getting cold sores you definetly have oral herpes.

Get Anbesol or Orajel at a pharmacy to help with the pain. There are also mouthwashes that will help - get ones without alcohol. And rinse your mouth with warm salt water several times a day - it is gross but it really will help.
